Hello Barry,

First of all, thank you for that comprehensive review.

There is an objection though, I don’t see why the alpha setting option is a problem. You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to. This feature was a suggestion of a user which I found interesting and useful under certain circumstances. I myself don’t use it most of the time.

The other cons, just for your information:

  • Mouse target drop doesn’t  always work
Some times it doesn’t work because is dropped over a control instead of a window. Try targeting the window title bar.
  • Why does it need Alpha settings?
    Isn’t needed.
  • Not a full Windows Task Manager replacement
True. Mainly because windows task manager is not treated like other programs by Windows kernel.
  • Internet “phone home” on start - why?
Must be the update checker. You can turn it off.
  • Selecting Mouse target option in dropdown box doesn’t always work
    Don’t know.
  • XP Users need to add “Debug Programs” privilege and needs administrator access
Windows XP security improvement. (Was about time, hehe)

Thank you again. I really liked the review.

Best regards,

Leo
