Having installed the system and running the program the following screens and menus are provided:
This review will follow the usual format of presenting the majority of information as screenshots backed up by further information where necessary.

Right Click Context Menu (Windows Explorer)
To start the Attribute Changer utility you can either use the Start-Programs option or the right click context menu on a file or folder in Windows Explorer:
This will then take you to the -
Main GUI Screen
As can be seen this is set out as 4 tab screens when started by right clicking on a file rather than a folder
This tab allows you to change all the main attributes of the file.
Where relevant the checkboxes can be set:
- Blank = Remove Attribute
- Ticked = Set Attribute
- “Grayed” = No Change
You can choose whether to modify date and time stamps or not and you can also set relevant time/date adjustments using the Advanced button which displays the -
Configure Filter
A second tab on this filter also allows you to specifically include or exclude certain file names.
Reporting Tab
Shows locked files or where problems were encountered.
Clicking on the More button displays the Detailed Reporting Screen
Settings Tab
This allows the setting of various global options and operation in “Simulation” mode as well as saving and loading of “presets”
About Tab
Gives details, access to the web sites and the Help file.
Folder Tab
Using the Right Click context menu on a folder rather than a file displays an extra Folder tab in the main screen. The additions available are highlighted using blue lines and boxes in the following screenshot:
The two buttons in the top blue box allow you to have the attributes for the files (first button) and also the times for the files (second button) to match those of the folder. You can also choose to Recurse folders with the checkbox at the bottom. There is also an option to configure folder name includes and excludes:

A Portable version would be of tremendous value. Any hope in that regard?
