This is a potentially useful program if you want to schedule 2 power schemes. I don’t like the registration/activation process and I am sure this will put a lot of people off. Also, if you don’t have .NET installed its a big installation just to run this utility. It could be a lot better with more extensive scheduling and power schemes.
Personally I rate this as:
Useful to Some – Easy to Use – Could easily be much better
What Could Make it be Better?
- Get rid of the activation process – if you want information on users ask at installation with an option to refuse
- Multiple Schedules
- Multiple power schemes
- Include timed shutdown/Suspend/Hibernate options
- Don’t use .NET

I tried this program before and didn’t notice much of a difference in power. I guess it all depends on what kind of desktop setups people have.
