For me this is very useful Firefox add-on that helps me in my day to day work and in researching for ProReviewer posts. I have recently compiled a new Portable Firefox 3 installation and Autocopy is one of the first few add-ons that I installed.

Personally I rate this as:

Simple to Use – Does a Very Good Job

What Could Make it be Better?

  1. Switch Highlighting on/off in pages
  2. Option to display one result per page/tab
    (A page/tab find rather than all text/phrases)

What Other Posts are Relevant?

Automatically Copy Text to the Clipboard in Firefox with Autocopy

Quickly View and Navigate Page Contents of Your Firefox Tabs with Tab Scope

TIP – Use Firefox Portable for Multiple Profiles and Backups

Brief 1.1 – Firefox Add-on – Simple BUT Very Effective RSS Reader

Firefox Add-on – Statusbars – Get Your Statusbars Organized

Firefox Beta 3 – Use Extension List Dumper Add-on to Find Compatible Extensions

Use UnMHT Firefox Add-on to Save and Archive Web Pages as Single Files

Very Great Idea, but another great idea would be to do a real search engine allowing to make complex requests (with and,or,…).
