Use FileTypesMan to Manage and Change How Programs are Opened by Files

The Nirsoft website gives the following details:
FileTypesMan is an alternative to the ‘File Types’ tab in the ‘Folder Options’ of Windows. It displays the list of all file extensions and types registered on your computer. For each file type, the following information is displayed: Type Name, Description, MIME Type, Perceived Type, Flags, Browser Flags, and more.
FileTypesMan also allows you to easily edit the properties and flags of each file type, as well as it allows you to add, edit, and remove actions in a file type.
Having installed FileTypesMan the following screens and menus are provided:

Main Window
On starting FileTypesMan searches the system and then displays a list of all the file associations found.
Edit File Type
Double clicking on any line in the window displays the Edit File Type Window with plenty of information and options.
Context Menu
Right Clicking on any line shows the Context Menu which replicates many of the main menu and toolbar options.

These are all self explanatory.
You will also note that there are several checkboxes to select (or not) options to:
- Turn on monitor sand resume from screen saver
- Keep on screen afterwards
- Repair network
- Specify what to do next
- Run program after wakeup
- Run programs before hibernate/standby
- Switch to tray
The Start button puts WakeupOnStandBy into active mode and the … button next to Start shows the following options:

Find
You can use the Find function to locate a particular file extension or program, this is then displayed in the main window with the Actions at the bottom:
In this example .txt has been found and the actions

- Printto
are shown in the bottom pane.
