Having installed or added* DisplayFusion and running it the following screens and menus are provided:
*(portable version)
This review will follow the usual format of presenting the majority of information as screenshots backed up by further information where necessary.
(click on any picture to enlarge where necessary)
System Tray icon
When running the following systray icon is presented along with a Tooltip showing the version:
The systray also has a right click menu associated with it:
The menu options are all fairly self explanatory all will become clear from the following details and explanations.
Main Wallpaper Window
This window provides all the functions for changing the background pictures or background color. Adding pictures held on your PC is just a simple Browse window. Choosing Load from Flickr shows the following screen:
In the above example I have done a simple search on “tower bridge london” and after a few moments the first age of search result thumbnails are shown.
Right clicking on a Thumbnail gives you the option to Preview (in your web browser) or to select that picture along with the picture title and size information:
Once you have selected a picture from your computer or Flickr you can choose how to fit it to the screen from the dropdown menu:
If you don’t want to use a picture you can select a plain color background for one or all monitors:
There are useful warning dialogs for operations that make permanent changes such as:
Settings Tabs
The settings window has a number of tabs:
Hotkeys
These can only be changed in the Pro – shareware version but this window gives a quick help/guide on the default settings.
Options
Proxy Settings
Most people won’t need these but it is nice to see the developer has included this option.
Window Snapping
Useful if you want to have screens automatically fit against the screen edges.

There’s a very amusing thread about this over at Scene.org’s flames forum – best quote “But it is kind of flattering for them to think that the demoscene coders now have found a way to pack 1 whole tv series episode into a ~30KB file

Neat app. I had a dual monitor setup for awhile but really didn’t like it until I started trading online. The ability to move windows between screens will come in handy.
